New York Trip

Two nights ago I dreamt that I was walking New York city streets, looking for photographic opportunities.  I think it was a spur of the moment thing.  I needed a holiday, and decided that I would go to NYC to do some street photography.  As soon as I arrived, I wanted to first pay homage at the Imagine mosaic in Central Park.  Just to sit there and chill for a bit before doing my wander.  On my way there, I ran into an ex of mine from years back.  We were both surprised at bumping into each other in a city neither lived in.  The chat was brief but civil, may be even nice.  Anyway, after chilling at Central Park, I decided to walk some streets I didn’t walk the last time I was there.  So I headed back downtown.  I thought I’d explore that end of Manhattan.  The trippy thing about that was, when I walked to the end, it looped back uptown, as if Manhattan was a Möbius strip.  I was totally lost but I didn’t care.  This was exactly what I needed in a holiday.  To get into something or somewhere and forget about my life back home, at least for a while.

My bladder woke me up at that moment.  And that’s that.

wing, you have the most creative dreams!

all mine are poorly remembered but always something about getting out of some messy project and “doomed city” circumstances at work, getting back to somewhere that i used to be. pathetic, i don’t work any more.

    i want your dreams please.

I’ve been coveting your dreams, Wing, and so impressed at what you remember. I go for what seems like a long time without vivid dreams, but lately I’ve been dreaming every night. Vivid dreams in which a lot happens.

Have you been taking any pictures lately?
