Wave Goodbyes

Last night I dreamt I was in a building preparing for massive tidal waves.  I was with a group of fifty or so people whom I know.  They seemed to be people from all different parts of my life.  Pass and present.  Real and imaginary.  We were all tied to office chairs in an office, watching the waves come, getting bigger and bigger, until one reached our window and crashed right into the room.  The next one was twice as tall as that, but it just hit the corner of the building and missed the windows entirely.  Everyone was either saying last goodbyes, or planning on how to escape once the building had become submerged.  It was quite emotional and frantic at the same time.  Just when people were starting to really loose it, the waves began to die down, and I woke up.
