Spock Misses The Point

I visited a couple of friends on Saturday night who had recently had a baby girl. She’s very tiny, and very cute. I even got to hold her, which is a pretty magical feeling. Babies are so cool, especially somebody else’s.

Anyway, last night I dreamt that another couple I know decided to try for their own baby as well. Nothing unusual about that, except that they were including me in the decision, which I couldn’t figure out why. I had a sense that it was a big decision, and they really were in two minds about it. I wanted to help, but I really didn’t feel I should be part of the decision making in this case. Slightly conflicting feel to the whole thing, but yet no ill feelings from anybody. It was just a tough decision to make.

I woke up before any decision was made.
