Spock Misses The Point

… but not as we know it.  Last night I dreamt I went snowboarding for the first time, with some friends I haven’t seen for ages.  High school friends.  It all sounds good fun, but when I got to the slopes I realised our snowboards weren’t snowboards at all.  They were more like a thick leather belt, with two really primitive buckles for the boots to go into.  Those buckles were in no way secure.  And the leather belt of a snowboard was totally useless.  Worst of all, the slopes were not even natural.  They were a kind of loose astroturf type plastic covered in very patchy snow.  Very disappointing dream.
