I’ve been reading about Scientology and its whacky and scary faces.  Came across a few sites of interest.

Operation Clambake - Undressing the Church of Scientology since 1996, a site by Norwegian Andreas Heldal-Lund.  Been around for yonks.  Never been sued.  A good factual starting point.  Well articulated and open to debate.
