This is my first portrait. I had just purchased the Nikon FE from ebay. $250AUD for the body and three lenses. The stock 50mm f1.4 AIS, and a couple of zoom lenses. I thought I’d try a shallow depth of field photo by setting it to f1.4, and this is the result. I was a happy chappy. My very first film SLR photo. Not bad, except I wish dad was looking into the camera. Oh well.
While I took this I noticed myself wishing for a wider view. May be a wider lens in the future.
