Spock Misses The Point

I’ve made the move that many bloggers have probably gone through in their days.  I’ve moved from Blogger’s great free blogging service to a WordPress blog at work’s new Mac mini web server.  We bought a Mac mini for running personal web sites, away from the work webserver for the company site.  So the load will be shared, which is good.  WordPress is also more configurable and easier to manage once set up.

Renovation here is almost there.  Gotta snap a photo to use in place of the default masthead of the “benevolent” theme.  This is a cross between “benevolent”, “Minima” from Blogger, and WordPress 1.5 default.

Once renovation is done, the next step will be to try to incorporate my web site wingdingo.com and Spock Misses The Point into one thing.  Not sure how I want to do that yet.  I’ll worry about that later.  In the mean time, wingdingo.com is also moved across to the Mac mini server, along with its 10 Stupid Questions database.

This is a techie boring entry, but it marks the beginning of a new era.  Happy housewarming!
